I only fairly recently discovered what fun meowth is to draw and play around with. Here's my SS everstone'd meowth Tama and my persian Jeoffry. :3Meowth and Persian © The Pokemon Company/Nintendo

Meowth was absolutely always my favorite pokemon. I remember when I was 11 with yellow version, I was so excited to be able to trade with someone with blue version to get my meowth. xD He was everstone'd as well, and trained to lvl 100. <3
I should probably get back into playing my SS version and catch me a meowth~ (Now that I'm in college, I don't really have as much time for pokemon haha)

Hah, yay! PokΓ©mon nostalgia = awesome. I'm probably going to let Tama evolve eventually to get the stat boosts, but she's got some EV training to do before then. There's some moves I'd like her to learn before that too.
I'm glad you like meowth so much (I share your love, obviously β₯) but I'd really appreciate comments specifically about the artwork

Ah, I totally forgot to comment on your art! I got really excited for a minute there. (And I'm so used to chatting with my friends on dA instead of posting constructive comments. /brick'd) Anyway, I like how you drew your meowth in so many different, dynamic poses. It's what drew me to this picture when I looked at your gallery. My favorite is the one in the bottom left corner. So catlike! And that persian, fff that expression is great.
In case you were wondering, I'm a watcher of ShineyShane's and her fanart of your Switch is what lured me over to your page haha. I'm not some random creeper. <3 ...Again, sorry for not properly commenting before, that was kinda rude/forgetful fff.

aw thank you honey! yeah, I know, I think pokemon stickers would be a lot of fun but I've just got personal issues over selling fanart. I'm thinking about doing it for certain circumstances though -- like fundraisers and the like, or maybe as contest prizes for something. but we'll see.

thanks so much hun! I haven't really drawn Pokemon in a long time but as I said, it feels good to revisit old friends with a new skill set.
it took me long enough to appreciate the appeal in Meowth's design but I'm a total addict now. cats in general are fun, I love how liquid their anatomy is, so it's just a matter of applying that to the meowth when I draw them.

Lol, it's funny how you talk about cats having liquid anatomy because I've always said the exact same thing myself... XD Especially as someone who spent so much time handling dogs (as a former dog groomer) and then have recently gotten some pet cats who I've been spending a lot of time with, it's so interesting to me the differences in how they move and especially feel when you pick them up, haha.
But anyway, yeah! I can definitely sense that fluidity and freedom of form and movement just by looking at these drawings, you translated that very well into your sketches. Love it and you're very welcome! ^-^
