I've had that one image of Squirtle and Charmander in my head for a long time and was so happy to finally draw it to my satisfaction. I think every picture I draw of them will always somehow relate to my relationship with my boyfriend (squirtle's always his pick, charmander is mine
).and Bulbasaur has to be there to complete the set of course.
expect a loooooot more Pokemon art, I keep getting inspired while playing heh.

aaaahh I love that colored one! Squirtle's smug face gets me every time. x) Also really liking the energy in charmander's pose. There's this great contrast between the two pokemon's posing and it's just an adorable concept overall.

Oh lord, its bad that the image of Squirtle on top of Charmander threatening to extinguish his flame causes me to cringe. Darn my love of Pokemon! (And by that I mean classic Pokemon, Red and Blue forevar!!! Tho Gold and Silver were amazing)

hahah, nothing bad will come of it, it's all good harmless fun like any sibling-esque relationship. I've never had that particular torture perpetuated on me (americans are a weird breed of child indeed), but I thought it'd make for an amusing image.
The original 151 will always have my heart, if only for nostalgia's sake alone, but second gen remains very special to me because I have great memories of how excited I was for it. I also loved that they introduced breeding and separate genders! SoulSilver is rocking my world right now because they took all of that and made it even more fun.

I'm currently playing SoulSilver, the remake of the second generation Silver game, for the DS.
AH YES we should TOTALLY catch up! I think I lost your number, I lost my phone earlier this year, but mine hasn't changed so just hit me up whenever. I'll probably be a little busy over the next couple of weeks (I too have had adventures with housing, as it were), but no harm asking me to pop round the old SVA for a coffee somewhere.
