I've had that one image of Squirtle and Charmander in my head for a long time and was so happy to finally draw it to my satisfaction. I think every picture I draw of them will always somehow relate to my relationship with my boyfriend (squirtle's always his pick, charmander is mine
).and Bulbasaur has to be there to complete the set of course.
expect a loooooot more Pokemon art, I keep getting inspired while playing heh.

You know you're totally right about revisiting an old fandom years later once one's skills have improved... that really is such a strange and wonderful thing to do, isn't it? ^_^ But in any case yes, you haven't lost anything at all in the way of creating amazing PokΓ©mon art... once again the amount of personality in all of them is just fantastic. You totally deserve the praise and on that note my pleasure... hahaha yes and Bulbasaur's pose was absolutely not lost on me, I just love that idea! XD

I didn't realize how long it has been since I actually drew some Pokees! I used to draw them all the time hahah, I actually copied out all the original 151 into a sketchbook from the official art - which incidentally taught me a lot about form and drawing from what I see. Playing SoulSilver is bringing back some good memories.
