Kaiba raised his hand and (Name) flinched
"Lock her up" He hissed
"Where, sir?" The guards asked
Kaiba snapped his fingers and a giant empty hourglass appeared. The guards dragged her over to the hour glass and a little hatch appeared. They threw her inside and the hatch disappeared. She turned around and began to hit the glass
"Let me out!" She cried
Kaiba snapped his fingers again and something began to fall on her head. She moved so she could get a better look and screamed. Sand was coming through the top
"Bakura, help!" She cried, out of desperation
"He can't save you, Princess. Say you'll marry me and the sand will stop" Kaiba said
"Kaiba, stop this!" The Pharaoh begged, clearly upset
Suddenly, Bakura jumped out and tackled Kaiba, causing him to fall to the ground
"How many times do I have to kill you before you stay dead?" Kaiba growled, getting up
"Bakura!" (Name) cried, a little worried about the slowly rising sand
Suddenly, more sand began to come through and she screamed
"(Name)!" The Pharaoh cried, distressed
Bakura looked at her and Kaiba used that as an opportunity to knock him off balance by kicking him in the gut. (Name) had no choice but to watch ... as the sand reached her shoulders
Oh, Bakura ... be careful She thought desperately
She took one last deep breath as the sand completely swallowed her
"(Name)! ... No ..."
"You're too late!"
She felt light-headed already ... she closed her eyes ... and lost consciousness

"(Name)? ... (Name)!"
She opened her eyes. She was being cradled in Bakura's arms
"B-Bakura ..." She breathed, stroking his cheek
He bent down and kissed her
"I'm here ..." He said
"Wh-where's father? Where's Kaiba?" She asked
"Kaiba's in here" He said, holding up a lamp
"And ... father?" She asked
He sighed and she sat up. She looked around. The palace was a mess
"Marik ... I wish this palace was fixed" Bakura said
"You got it!" Marik said, snapping his fingers
In an instant, the palace was back to normal. She looked around for the Pharaoh desperately
"Father? Father!" She called, standing up
Bakura patted her on the shoulder
"I'm sorry, (Name)" He said
She looked over at Marik, he had the Pharaoh hoisted over his shoulder
"F-father?" She breathed
He didn't respond and she began to cry
"N-no ..."
"He tried to get to you ... and Kaiba killed him" Marik said
She fell to her knees, eyes streaming with tears

And so, the lamp was buried with the Pharaoh ... to ensure no one ever used it. Marik was set free with Bakura's last wish ... and went on a much needed tour of the world. And, many years after the Pharaoh's tragic death, Bakura and (Name) got married ... and started a whole new life together ...
