Description
A few days later, when it was time for the next special, Sir Topham Hatt arrived at Hiro's shed with something in his hands behind his back."Good morning, Hiro." Sir Topham Hatt greeted him, cheerfully.
"Good morning, sir." Replied the big engine, then he paused for a moment and considered his words very carefully. "Sir, I want to tell you something."
"Well, go on."
"It's about you taking my costume. I've changed my mind and I must protest! I've listened to the opinions of several other engines and they all agreed that it was wrong and a bad move for the railway. My costume is a celebration of my culture, even though I am here on the other side of the world, thousands of miles away from Japan."
"Funny you should bring that up, Hiro." Began Sir Topham Hatt. "Because after much deliberation on the part of myself, the railway board, and with input from the public, I will be giving you back your costume. I think that woman was just as wrong to complain about your costume. As I found out, this controversy has actually made headlines around the whole world, and those most offended by this turn of events were the Japanese."
"Really?" Hiro gasped.
"Indeed, once I ran their posts through a translation program." Sir Topham Hatt said. "So, I must ask you, would you like to wear your costume again for the next Track-or-Treat Special?"
"Yes please!" Hiro answered, excitedly, and so it was.
