Before leaving, Emily was tasked with picking up some refurbished coaches from the Steamworks to return to Tidmouth. When she arrived to collect them she heard a whistle as James slunk through with a scowl on his face as he backed onto his own train. When he saw her his face turned into a smile.

"Hello, Emily. How did your date go?" He asked. Something felt off with James as he asked her about the details of her date with Edward.

"It was very fun! Thanks for asking." She replied nonetheless. James smiled and chuckled.

"So are you two..." He began. "...A thing?" Emily was perplexed by this. What could he mean by 'a thing?'
