Than'Hul is Thanatiel's hidden personality and form... A parasite that.. Devours him from the inside... But also suffers with him... A "God" who is in fact.... The son of Cthulhu. (To summazize, Cthulhu is a fantastic fictional creature created by Howards Phillips Lovecraft, an American writer. He appeared for the first time in his book "Call of Cthulhu" in 1928. Cthulhu is a extraterrestrial monster with an humanoid body, an octopus-like head and tentacles and giant dragon-like wings. Cthulhu is a Great Old One, an extraterrestrial entity, banned from Xoth system and sleeping in the sub marine city of R'Lyeh, waiting for his awakening. Cthulhu had many children but if you're interested, go see for yourself :3. I'm gonna talk about one I personally created, Than'Hul. He doesn't exists in the Lovecraft universe but I decided to "include it" just for fun ^^)

Cthulhu wanted a worthy successor... So he had a child named Than'Hul and sent the entity into the heart of a child who was just about to be born... Itami... Or...If you prefer.. Dremael. Cthulhu wanted them to suffer during their entire life... Even in the Death... And when both of Itami and Drem'hul would have accumulated enough Hatred... Enough Sorrow... Than'Hul would devours Itami's soul completely and... Shows up...into an abomination.. (Appearence above).. Something so grotesque... So horryfing.. That he would be hard to look at... And would give horrible nightmares to any life forms... The horrible appearence would represent the eternity of physical and mental suffering Itami had in his life... and Death.. His roar would make ground crackle... the winds shake the ocean... Also, his appearence itself would be so.. "Unsual" to say the least.. That the laws of Earth we know like gravity.. Would been completely modifed.. And all of this... In one single point : Make Than'Hul devour our solar system to be powerful enough and reach the Xoth system... To have his revenge with the Great Old ones that banished his father... That's why Dremael is kept in the Purgatory.. With all the Demons he needs to hunt and feast on... To prevent Than'Hul's return.. And also... The entire destruction of our universe.

Than'Hul can also create smaller clones of himeself called Phantoms. They're about Dremael's size, can camoufage themselves and are used by Drem'hul as hunters and keepers. They are created with a fragment of Than'Hul soul so basically, he can see, feel, smell and speaks through them.
