Description
Based on the RGM-79-BCC GM Centurion, the RGC-80-BCC GM Centurion Cannon was modified to better fit its fire-support role. The suit was reduced slightly in height and the legs were outfitted with additional thrusters. The armor around the chest and cockpit were strengthened to compensate for the loss of the shield, and the unit's beam rifle was removed in favour of a submachine pistol for any possible close-combat encounters. Only five GM Centurion Cannons were known to have been constructed, and were dispersed among the troops. Soon after, the One Year War came to an end.
