Not 100% satisfied with this. I can't seem to get the background quite right. I'm open to suggestions though!

I love this. I don't know if this is your design or not, but it's the fisrt role switch that I see of these two, and it looks AWESOME. Their outfits match the personalities just so damn well.

i can't give permission- they're Jim Henson characters- if you wanted to do fan art, i'm sure you'd be fine doing that. If you wanted to use the costumes though, then yes, you're more than welcome, but please give credit

Perhaps move the background lower? Idk if that makes any sense. So you don't see the bottom of the arch?

Any pointers for the BG? You have a pretty good eye for composition it seems like.

The background is nice. It looks like where the hallway goes back that the depth is a little stunted, but it could be fixed by either raising the archway, or by stretching out the farthest back image. adding a bit of color would give it some contrast too, like some subtle vine work here and there

I'm going to trying fixing that perspective and adding some little dried grass tuffs and moss and such. I really appreciate it!

Hmm, as for the background, it is alright. Β I like the idea of the arch, but maybe the tunnel itself could be a little longer, or maybe make the area way in the back a little darker. Β I imagine it being a little darker, but maybe I am influenced too much by the movie itself. Β It would be an interesting contrast to have where they are bathed in light, and then have the dark tunnel, with just a slight panel of light bursting through to illuminate a small bit of the back. Β I like the floors and what you did with the rocks, but I just think it should be a little darker in some places is all. Β Does that help?

It does help- i wanted it to feel like the labyrinth, but couldn't seem to get that mix of drab/sparkle quite right. I'll fiddle with it more and see how i like it.
