New anti Twilight series stamp since dA deleted my first one *cough* This time I didn't use the stupid coverart to the series so if this is deleted, someone's gonna get hurt! Anyhoo, for all you who are tired of this hype called Twilight!
IF YOU DON'T LIKE MY STAMP, JUST LEAVE! As written by : "I can't believe some people wanted you banned for disliking a book... They need to grow up. So a lot of people don't like Twilight; life goes on. You're allowed to dislike whatever you want and they should respect that.
And..you weren't even bashing the book. You're just not into it. What's wrong with that? A lot of people are too sensitive and over-react to this. Besides, Article 19 gives you the right to voice your opinion. Just because someone doesn't agree with you doesn't mean you should be banned or flamed. It's really unfair because your rights were overlooked. Those people are basically saying Let's silence anti-twilighters because they don't think Twilight is awesome."

This is so true. There's like... Nothing I can say because this stamp took the words right out of my mouth. The only GOOD thing about Twilight is the music. Bella's Lullaby was pretty great, it's just a shame it's BELLA'S Lullaby.

You know, Twilight is not the first thing to have all those things in one place.
To me, I can forgive all the things you just mentioned all of it. But my biggest complaint with Twilight is this: It's just such a bore. It's really really quite depressingly dull. There was nothing even ridiculously bad for me to get excited about, it was all so vanilla and slow.

Twilight came out when I was in middle school and all my freinds were going crazy over it. So naturally I couldn't wait to read it. Then of course I read it and thought "this is such CRAP!" My friends still love it and I still hate it. I ended up reading all the books out of curiosity. and couldn't help but laugh at how awful they were and how each book just got worse and worse. XD Love this stamp!

I totally agree! I read the second book and that is all I ever read, I tried the first book like 12 times at the insistence of my friends, and I never got past page 3 because it bored me so much. In the second book I read it once. I reread all my books, except for that one. I plan on selling them. The movies are somewhat okay, but just for entertainment. I plan to keep those for when I am bored, otherwise bye bye Twilight. Its not fair, for it to be so popular and made Meyer, so rich, while others sell much better novels and make hardly any profits. Love this stamp! You should have included that Jacob was a pedo, and that Bella was a two timer basically.

The books are bad enough to keep bashing for eternity. This doesn't go "out of style" unless the expectations of readers have gone down the hole, which I could easily believe.
To Twihards and people like me who can be too lazy to pick up a book some days - May I congenially suggest Wuthering Heights or Jane Eyre? Perhaps Ender's Game?

I never liked the books before, but hearing about all the attacks on people by rabid Twilight fans, physical and verbal, continuously fuels my hatred towards them to this day. So, when New Moon (I think it was that one) came out, I was like:
'self, a lot of people are seeing this, which doesn't mean it's good PER SE, but you thought Harry Potter was just overhype and that ended up being fairly good, so maybe you have been missing something'
So I paid my 8.50 or whatever the hell it was. Opening dream sequence wasn't horrible, was thinking, 'maybe this is decent after all'...then....
well then at some point the movie was like: 'teeheeheeheehee my boyfriend/husband tore half my face off cuz he got mad, but I WUV him and haz baked him chocolate chip cookies! Hi sweetie wuvvy wuvvy wuvvy wuv!'

The story was already heading into the realm of crappy before that, but the 'sex before marriage is evil! but tearing your partner's face off is forgivable/forgettable when cookies are involved! message was just kinda...wat?
I pretty much decided that Meyers was extremely mentally deficient and had some pretty messed up priorities at that point - the fact that so many people eat this shit up is actually a bit worrying. This isn't even getting into the whole raping of a 1000s year old archetype...
