New anti Twilight series stamp since dA deleted my first one *cough* This time I didn't use the stupid coverart to the series so if this is deleted, someone's gonna get hurt! Anyhoo, for all you who are tired of this hype called Twilight!
IF YOU DON'T LIKE MY STAMP, JUST LEAVE! As written by : "I can't believe some people wanted you banned for disliking a book... They need to grow up. So a lot of people don't like Twilight; life goes on. You're allowed to dislike whatever you want and they should respect that.
And..you weren't even bashing the book. You're just not into it. What's wrong with that? A lot of people are too sensitive and over-react to this. Besides, Article 19 gives you the right to voice your opinion. Just because someone doesn't agree with you doesn't mean you should be banned or flamed. It's really unfair because your rights were overlooked. Those people are basically saying Let's silence anti-twilighters because they don't think Twilight is awesome."

about 4 years ago I read Bram Stoker's Dracula and I LOVED it. And whenever I found the chance I loved reading old (and some contemporary) literature with Vampire Horror themes. (Loved Castlevania too)
Then Twilight came out and ruined it.
All the vampire books that followed it's release were all those vampire fetish books.
And then another thing Twilight ruined for me was that there was this gorgeous piano song that I found, however it's title was A River Flows in You (or something along those lines) and apparantly there is some song with the same title that somebody sings in the book, and so unnofficially the fans declared that to be the actual song, and after reading all these really cheesy Twilight fan comments I was so dissapointed that it actually kind of ruined the song for me.

Sad thing is, all these 'hard-core' Twilight 'fans' never EVEN HEARD OF TWILIGHT WHEN IT FIRST CAME OUT.
They only did so once it was announced to be in the movies, three years after being publish.

So true! I tried (with emphasis on "tried") watching the movie to see what all the fuss was about. I thought: "Hey, maybe it is good if so many people are obsessed with it." - But no! I was bored to death, slapped myself on the forehead at 10 times, rolled my eyes at least 8 times and fell asleep after those 30 minutes! 30 minutes I'll never get back... *breathes*

God I couldn't agree more. All I hear at school is "Omg Edward is sooo hot, Twilight is amazing". And even to prove that I don't hate it without even trying it, I watched the movie. (I think I hated it more after that XD)

Ugh, my friend is OBSESSED with Twilight. I read the book before the WHOLE WORLD became obsessed with it. And in my opinion, I hate Twilight with a burning passion.

It disgusted me. I have a history of domestic violence in my family, which only caused me to hate the series even more, since that's all it glorifies.

Well I have to say as much as I'm more likely to keep my opinions to myself, you really have it SPOT ON what I don't like about that series--everything you said is right there! I agree 100%

Oh by the way, that it not to say I don't like vampires or anything; I love Bram Stoker's Dracula and I like quite a bit of Ann Rice's vampires, particularly the movie Interview with the Vampire (the Queen of the Damned movie kinda sucked).
Also, just in case anyone is wondering, I did in fact read the Twilight series so I'm perfectly justified in having my opinion here. Apart from everything this stamp says, which I agree with, I particularly didn't like how it was written--it reminded me of a fanfiction or fan-pairing; the semantics of the language style she used really was poor and it seemed to me as if she was writing the book for herself to live vicariously through Bella. It seemed somehow very indulgent in a way.
Anyway, I'm really not one to go picketing in anyone's face about whether they like the series or not and everyone should hate/love it/whatever. I don't agree with that at all. Have your opinions, and use them to establish yourself as a person, but don't inflict them on other people unless asked or confronted. That's the whole reason we have wars because of religion, after all.

Oh yeah, and one last thing - admittedly, I did like the movie Twilight. I thought it was handled a lot better than the book, and they compressed down a lot of the extraneous things the book had between plot developing segments. I felt the book dragged a bit between them, and I think the movie did a good job cutting down on the drag and getting the point across.

I'm not gonna deny you an opinion and I not gonna try to be a b*** to you, but how about,instead of spending your time making stamps that just piss people off, you put some energy into doing stuff about what you do like instead. If you hate Twilight that much just stay away from the fandom, becouse(I don't know if you've noticed this), a hell lot of people actualy love this book. And if so many people love it, it can't be that intorably bad.
