I wasn't really fond of the 2009 redesign of the Bionic Commando when I first saw it. Looked like some desperate attempt to make the character look 'Cool' and 'Hip'. The game's storyline is awesome, and once you get used to the control scheme it can be pretty fun.Really wasn't until MvC3 that I grew to like the design. Maybe the cell-shaded style really fit him? Maybe they made some needed tweaks to the character's look? Who knows.
Made this using various sprites. Vega's head and hair mixed with the hair of Alex (SF3), Guile's body, boots from the 'Capcom vs. SNK' M. Bison, and various little metallic bits from 'Metal Slug' games for the arm, and the fist from one of the robots from the 'Super Robot Wars' games. And that's just the ones I remember XD

i'll be honest.. i kinda like his 2009 redisgn more than his old design.. mostly cause to me he just liked to similar to Guile and Wesker with a metal arm.. and adding a mustash to it in Re armed made him looks like a dork in a bad way.. to me his 2009 design was just so different from anything ive seen from capcom that it kinda stands out to me more and makes me feel like he is his own character now.. granted yes they kinda Edged up his personality in bionic commando 09 ((atleast the game is fun)).. but they fixed it in MVC3. i kinda want them to make another 3d Bionic commando game with spencers MVC3 personality.. and btw IM SO HAPPY THEY ARE USING THIS DESIGN IN MVCI.

That's actually nice. Though the right (viewer) leg could use detailing on the pants, it looks rather bland in comparison to the left (viewer) leg.
But very good work in either case. Please do more.
