Description
Open PMXEditor (I used english ver in this picture) then load your model bla bla.Then put your normalmap texture into sph/spa box .And then select the "subtexture"(below the "加算")

Hi, thanks for this tutorial.
Does it work with normal maps only? I mean... can it work with greyscaled bumpmaps and/or displacement maps?

It displays a purple color in default PMXE. That is the editor treating the texture mistakenly. (Maybe multiply? Maybe blend? Not sure.)
In MMD, once you load an NCHL material onto it using MME, the purple will go away, and your normal map will be functional.

Is it possible you didn't apply the normal map to the right slot? Make sure that you have "sub-tex" selected as in the picture above.
If you want to make a post and create a download link, I'll see what I can troubleshoot. Just get my attention with a pm or something.
