You must choose the tab of the parties, then this is the text field below the textures.

Extract the content of MME (not the folder) into your MMD folder and open mmd

I .. really wonder how you manage that. Considering everytime I try this (yes, after deleting the .spa files!) all I get is a somewhat nicely colored and shaded yet totally texture-messed-up figure.. !! x_x

NCHL is programmed to use .spa files as both specular masks (the traditional use) and normal maps. But .spa files don't make good normal maps A normal map acts to change the angles of your models faces. This makes it look all wavy or bumpy or something if it a nonsensical normal map.

Got the shader to work, fixed any bright spots in models and stuff but now when I load the shader black spots appear around my models? I tried checking every MME tab just in case but nothing seems to work, what could the problem be?

XP Nevermind! Switching to camera view and messing with the lights fixes that! XD

Oh, and I used the Subset menu to apply different types of the NCHL2 shader, like Hair.

For me, first I had to switch to camera view, and then I changed the color of the lights a bit (blue was at 255, green a little less than that, and red less than green). I also moved the lights around; Z was moved up a lot (though not all the way) as was Y. X only had to be moved a little. In model mode, the colors still look weird, but it looks and renders fine in camera mode.
