bet ya' didn't expect this ;-p

... and yay me for for super original idea But honestly people, after seeing the following beauties:

how could I let this go undone? Especially after I discovered that there was no Brett!Basil around? Especially when Brett wore those simply gorgeous and at the same time simple Victorian clothes (*I is mad about old things). Plus, ever since I've seen The Little Mermaid I kept thinking that Disney rocks the house when it comes to animation ... but not when it comes to fashion Some of the clothes and colors Disney uses for their characters can be rather annoying at times (red, blue and green had been overused in my opinion) and even if GMD really is beyond realistic when it comes to these things ... I couldn't help but think: "how would Basil look dressed up ... differently. Yes, he's dressed a la Holmes de la Basil Rathbone, but what if he's be a bit more like Jeremy Brett?". Look at what my brain came out with

And yes - I am sorry for not making an update for WitD this week (like I was blo*** suppose to) but maybe this will due as compensation ...

... as well as this little oneshot I did: The First Snowdrops (inspired by ~TpT 's A Present for Basil and yes, I know there should have been bluebells in the fic, but ... bare with me XD)
