Description
One of my recent projects, I plan on making a Voyage series, with this spacey sci-fi theme... I wanted to contrast something dark(dark clouds and ship) with something light(colorful nebulae). just trying new stuff, hope ya enjoy it.Ship was painted in Photoshop, idea is from a model I saw at a museum.
Let your minds go crazy with story ideas and post them
Strongly inspired by Gary Tonge
EDIT: Ok, I've been planning a major edit from the day I uploaded this, this wasnt 100% effort from me at all... I rushed it, but hopefully this version is better... hope ya like it
I cant thank and enough!

One of the best space pieces I've seen recently, if not the best.

The ship reminds me of the one from Close Encounters of the Third Kind.
I would love to see what kind of apo gradients yuo do, or even a break down of your nebula works. They look fantastic.

Changes to the foreground are far better, nicely done.

And it does a lot for the overall perspective and composition too.

amazing as usual!
...
Right now wht comes 2 my mind is like the "scenery" perfect for a tale, where humans have forgotten totally (cuz is waaaay in the past) of Earth ... like an abandoned city after a HUGE dissaster ... XD ... lol... cool stuff like that and more!

You know, you should consider writing a tutorial book on how to make great space art. I'm sure there are plenty of people, besides myself, who would buy it. If your writing is as good as your space art, hell even if it isn't, I'm sure there are plenty of publishing houses that would want to pick up your book.
Something to think about...

You crafted something very special here. The image as a whole is fantastic. IMO your strongest nebula work.
Way to go!

I'll just point my finger towards `j4m3sb0nd and agree on that comment hehe.
I think the nebula is ACE work, really really good mate but I have to agree on some other people who's stabbed ya a bit for the foreground/planets. It feels you lost the touch there on the piece or tha that they just doesnt' fit the shoe sort of speak.
The top planet I think is too ambient and to bright. Even if so bright it would look so much better if it were a little more tinted by the nebula colors for blend-vewing in terms of tones.
The gas giant, I dunno, there's just something with it that doesn't fit the image all 'n all : /.
Clouds and "city" feels like, neeh ;D, sorry for that diffuse but it's just bleh.
I have crit this much but I belive in kick in teh ass by the harsh truth! .
Later bro!
