Dr. Doreen Wozniak, just getting off-shift at St. Morpheus Highly Fictional Charity Hospital, was lucky enough to nab the last 50 Carat bar from the vending machine, thus stealing a march on her long-time rival in the Internist program, Dr. Darren Arofsky. She was on her way to the back door when she felt an agonizing stab to the side of the neck. Being injected with several cc's of medication without warning and all at once is actually quite painful, and she froze up for just that second too long.

"Ha," said a male voice in her ear. "So you thought you could steal my chocolate again, did you? Pleasant dreams, doctor."

She tried to answer, but her tongue felt oddly thick and fuzzy, and the hallway lights seemed to swing and dim overhead. Something warm and heavy pressed against her head - someone's shoulder? - as fingers plucked at her wrist, finally grabbing the candy bar from her limp fingers. Her eyelids grew heavy as everything slid away into darkness.

I had to cackle at how maniacally fixated his eyes are on that candy bar. I can identify. There've been days when, had one anesthetic induction been all that was between me and chocolate, and I could get hold of the drugs, it would have been awfully tempting...
