Description
The eyes of the goddess are blacker than the night sky, and I hear her voice all around me, from the darkness and the stars. Among my people I am a man; but I am a child beside her as she cradles me in her arms.

"You come to me for the first time, Aevryn truenamed Belnatha-Sadhaen. It will not be the last. You fell shriven, with clean hands; you rise whole. Go to the light that you see, youngling."

The goddess smiles.

"And this time, be more careful in whom you place your trust."

"Yes, Mother Aedda."

The light swells until it is all that I can see...

"...And I awaken under a starry sky, with the sounds of trees and cicadas. This grove was the place of my shriving, and in this grove I rise, my body vanished from the place where it fell. I have kept the pact of the Dark Ones with our Mother, and so I rise again.

"And now to see about Khuvash the Apothecary, who sells a poison for which he claims the virtue of overpowering the naga."

Rendered in DAZ Studio 4.8 in Iray, no postwork (the Bloom filter is inherent in the engine). Cloth sim from Marvelous Designer. It's a bit of a relief to get away from the 500,000 polygon water sim; this took a fraction of the time to render compared to the first three!
