Thought I'd dig up the first time I remember drawing discord. (might have been the second not really sure but this was the closest pose) and compare it to this latest drawing ( www.deviantart.com/tabdabble/a…)
Discord actually helped me improve a lot as an artist when I was in high school.
Before I started drawing him, I was a bit paranoid about ever """becoming complacent""" by drawing the same thing/character over and over, but with Discord I was so intrigued by his design and the fact that his friggin face PHYSICALLY DOES NOT MAKE SENSE that I wanted- I needed to draw him to figure out some sort of consistent way of drawing him.
Drawing something on-model so much helped me grow a lot as an artist, and so he's been an integral part of my improvement.
So thanks John-Man-DeLancey This one's for you
