The CSMG 390-75 HORNET is a variant of the CAC 390C chambered in the rather obscure 7.5mm Hornet cartridge, which is essentially a necked down .45 ACP trying to be the most economical small caliber cartridge capable of firing modern special purpose payload rounds. Most are made from standard CAC 390Cs in an attempt to make the cheapest possible weapon chambered in the high-velocity 7.5mm cartridge.

The Meridian Interstellar Arms Corporation is medium sized weapons and equipment trading company with limited in house production capabilities mostly focused on private customers and small, often underfunded, government agencies.
