Whee... this turned out better than I hoped.Grovyle's one of the coolest PKMN ever, so I had to try it once. I tried to make it dinosaur-like as it reminds much of Archaeopterix but I didn't add any skin texture. It's still a plant type, so I decided to keep it smooth.
My own Grovyle in ruby edition is called Calvin, just like the Calvin cyclus in the dark reaction of photosynthesis.

Despite the age of this picture I still find it to be the best grovyle picture, grovyle is my favorite pokemon, and you are wrong, the Calvin cycle is a part of photosynthesis... it's not that hard to figure out(even though that comment is from october lol).

I love Grovyle! On my Ruby version, his name is Felix, and I won't let him evolve.
This is a lovely, realistic version of it. I always thought it looked like a dinosaur, too, which is probably why I love it so much.

I always thought of Grovyles as grass-raptors. Some theories go that raptors had feathers and/or eventually evolved into today's birds. Still, dinos RAWK. O:

Wow, nice. This picture does make it look much like an archaeopteryx, which is my favorite dinosaur/bird/thing of all time. very nice, the colors and lighting effects make is look all the more realistic. ^^

damn, youd have to be SO lucky to get a shiny starter. i personally started with torchick, then stole my other 2 starters from the ruby/sapphire carts set up on stalls at an official event. hohoho. they didnt have anything covering the link ports so that they could show people how to work battles.

It's times like this that make me wish that Sceptile evolved into Grovyle and not the other way around. As much as I love my ass-kicking Bahuma, I think its Leaf Blade attack would be much more potent if it was performed by this beast of a pokemon.
I love the leaf's shadows on the pokemon's body, not to mention that hungry slitted eye. If all the pokemon looked like this, people wouldn't dare to call them kiddy!
