Whee... this turned out better than I hoped.Grovyle's one of the coolest PKMN ever, so I had to try it once. I tried to make it dinosaur-like as it reminds much of Archaeopterix but I didn't add any skin texture. It's still a plant type, so I decided to keep it smooth.
My own Grovyle in ruby edition is called Calvin, just like the Calvin cyclus in the dark reaction of photosynthesis.

Buenos dias, this be the Captain snooping about the galleries! I think it goes without saying that you show some awesome talent! And you're probably one of the few fan artists that actually create better art than the official pieces. I love the shading you did on him/her/it/other, you can really feel the shadows of the leaves when you look at the pic. Dude, this kicks ass! I like the Treeko family, but unfortunately, they suck just like all the other grass starters. But anyway, awesome fricking job! Hm, I didn't know they had alternate colors in Ruby and Sapphire.

Yeah, I was thinking of it as a Dromaeosaur or a post-dromaeosaur myself... A bit too many leaves on the 'wings', I think, and the large leaf on its head should be a bit broader at the base in my opinion, but as it's supposed to be a more realistic interpertation, i'll go along with it.

looks more like a bird mixed with a dragon or something like that but it really does look beautiful. Its eye is perfect and i love the design

The orange/green contrast brings out Grovyle from the BG, his eyes are just beautiful. The leaves look so real, body has this 3D form...

Awesome. Grovyle is one of my favorite pokemon. His legs look odd. The one curled looks fine but the one that is straight, it doesnt look like it can bend the same way the other one does.

My only nitpick is that the background looks too much like him. For more realism, I'd desaturate and darken the background (leaves usually aren't that neon) and then that'd really make him " pop" out.
