You said zee! *squirms* If that was to be German accent at its worst, it would have to be "zeh". ^^ I notice that mistake in a lot of movies. It's true, many people here have problems with the "th" and would pronounce it as "z", but the vowel stays pretty much the same. x-) Sorry for the mini-rant, and thank you for your comment.
