Somehow I feel like that isn't going to work as well as she'd hoped. Also dang, I love that the Judges are being portrayed in this light. Suddenly they aren't the overbearing overlords watching with detached amusement, but ordinary people who know these people and who, for some reason, can't interfere. Daaaang this is good plot development!

Cino hit the nail on the head. It's not a huge part of everything but we definitely wanted to really emphasize the notion that we are all just normal humans in this tournament with normal human emotions/reactions.
