I put this all together on about two days (which is super speedy compared to my usual timeing)I read over a truly touching message from Volklet dicussing a unique pigeon she came across.
To make sure the vision wasn't lost I hurried to my sketch pad and have been working nonstop.
I tried some different effects and techniques with coloring (backlighting,colored outlining,hard pattern,and more) Though everything it rather ridged I quite like the out come.
So not to inflect too much emotion on dear Catherine I didn't look pictures of Amaroq for reference. I knew if I tried to make it look like him it might hurt a bit for her.

That is amazing... I love the bird in flight and the wing action, the husky looks great of course ^^ but i find birds amazingly hard. I love the pose of and the face of the husky lovely.

I am astonished and speechless - this is just the kindest thing I can imagine......
Despite Jack providing the anatomy, I could see it was Amaroq even before I looked closely - when I scrolled down my list of today's Deviations I just looked and thought - "There's Amaroq!"
It's so beautiful, full of feeling, and so beautifully drawn that I just can't find the words, so I will just have to say "Thank You" from the bottom of my heart.
