Description
This is my first attempt at painting, so be kind. I know it has some major flaws (like the face....ack) but I had to start somewhere! I really like the way the wings turned out, and I like the bg.Light sketch first, then watercolor pencils.

I really like this!!! The colours are fantastic and the rays of sun! The wings pretty cool and I love the movement in the hair and outfit!.... you said you don't like the face.. but i'm not sure if I understand how it 'goes'.. is the pointed part at the bottom the chin or the nose with the rest of the face covered by the hair? Let me know

Ok, this is really good! What it reminds me of is an angel turning away from the darkness (or anger, the red color) and embracing or reaching out to the peaceful and calm light. The curving of the wings around is like a protective barrier to keep out the bad. I do so love vibrant colors like this. It really brings out so much emotion. The rays of light shining down are so well done hun.

This picture speaks volumes.. The angel(?) seems to be being blasted back.. but the light is coming from the upper right corner(Right? Not just my mind?). The colors are very vibrant and eye-pleasing.. but at the same time explosive..
It almost seems as if the hand is reaching out to someone.. almost as if s/he had been betrayed.. Like "How could you.. I love you and you..*BAM*"

no, i just have a love/hate relationship with cows
i love them for there milk and steaks, but i hate them when they follow you, they go around in bunches of 20 following you, if you stop, they stop, staying always about a meter and a bit away.
like stalkers, scary!
sheep are much nicer to walk near, you look at them and they flee

But honestly, this is wonderful and amazing to look at (is the face that much of a key element in the pic?) I feel this piece was meant to exist solely for the colours.

This is awesome! Did it take you long? It's much better than my first painting, for one it has a background.Which is cool, the way it fades from a dark red to light yellow. I don't see any major flaws, the only problem with the face I can see is that it has no nose. Other than that...Yay watercolour! How big is the picture on paper?
