Description The rich coloring of the box, especially in the tail, enhanced the carving on this piece.

Carving is just like drawing, but it is a little more dangerous. (Bandaids are a necessary part of any carver's tool box.) If you really want to learn, you can. You, I think, can do anything.

lol, darn, just ran out of bandaids too. lol i used to carve stuff into fallen branches but they were in need of some perfessional help. lol. wow, thanks! i tend to try almost every medium of art at least once. i've even done galssblowing before (at a summer camp with perfessionals, of course.)

Glass blowing, huh? Wow, that is something I'd like to try. But everytime I try something new, I also try to turn it into a business. I just don't know how to have a hobby.

If you keep trying everything that you can, eventually you will find the one thing that you love to do more than anything, and that is a blessing. Keep it up.

yup. glass blowing was fun. i did with my friend whose also on dA. we did it over the summer. i have so many artistic hobbies, i lost count. lol. but i always stick to them, i never give up.
