Tetrox uses some unconventional tactics to get past Arnick but looks like she can’t outrun him.
And before someone asks why she didn’t splat him. Arnick is a dangerous opponent when he’s in front of you. If she had splatted him, he would have respawned before she could reach the goal and she would have to do try to get past him, again. It was a smarter choice to try to outrun him when he can’t really stop and try to take an aim.

To be fair to Arnick, having a transforming Octaling jump out in front of you would have scared anyone. Tetrox really means business in that last panel.

That last panel, she's like, "It's not gonna work this time." I think she might actually throw a splat bomb at the splash wall. Because if you throw a splat bomb at a splash wall, it will explode on impact and get rid of the splash wall immediately. She has a splattershot jr. so it won't surprise me if she tosses one at the splash wall.
