Yes, this series is set in splat1 rules. Tho some characters have hairstyles and pants from the second game but new weapons and gear are not "legal" to use in this season of turf war league. There was a mention in earlier chapter where they are working on starting the next season with these new rules, haha.

I don't think he will have enough ink for this last shot. My favorite weapon was almost always the Jet Squelcher with the inkwall and inkstrike. After throwing out a wall, you've either done it strategically so your team can take advantage, or you throw it tactfully (as shown here) and are left with a very small amount of ink. In the later situation, you had better hit all but maybe one of your shots or you won't have enough ink to finish them off and you had better have full ink before the throw.
Edit: And from what I can tell, none of his current gear has inksaver-sub as it's primary ability or any sort of ink-saver for that matter.

don't overanalyze it... knowing Tetrox she will probably kiss him and bail out to the goal just to confuse and annoy Arnick and get to the goal that way

You clearly don't know me. I over analyze things for fun I don't care if it's not what happens. I just enjoy the feeling of accomplishment when I have thoroughly dumbfounded someone with the amount of effort I put into just OBSERVING something.
If you know Static-P, you may know me a little. Not much, but you may know about my work.
You see, Static-P has a song series called Criminal Idol. I took a character in his series and broke down their psyche much further than was ever intended to the point where I got things wrong just because not that much thought was put in. (I'm going to be honest, he never said that exactly, but I figure that to be the case because I went to something that couldn't quite be proven, but had some ground.) I dug through EVERY song that she appeared in just to find information, including finding a single line that was just the phrase "Uh-Oh" and used that to support my claims.
DON'T tell me not to over analyze things.
