Please Read: I just want everyone that stops by this deviation to understand that this tutorial was made over 6 years ago and for a friend. I didn't even know what the meaning of tutorial meant when my friend asked me to help her draw a chibi. She just asked me to post it up and I did. I never thought that my tutorial would be so helpful not only to her but many of you deviants that stop by.I want to thank everyone that has found this deviation useful even if I no longer draw my chibi's this way. I would love to do an update of how my chibi's are now drawn but as more and more time goes by I see that it's not really about how the chibi's are really drawn but the message and tips that I give in the tutorial that are more helpful then the style it self.
Sadly I don't ever really plan on updating this deviation given the fact that my tutorial is the only one out there that really helps beginning artists. Other Chibi Tutorials are too challenging and mine seems to help people that are just starting out. So forgive me if this tutorial isn't as great as it can be drawing wise, but just try and pull the message out of it; Thank you!

Oh my gosh! I'm finally finish!!
This 'how to draw' thing one drove me crazy XD But its ok because I'm done. Wheeee! It only took me a month lol~
Anyhow, I did this for DevilsHaart I hope she likes it and finds it helpful. I'm not that great with chibi's but she saw one of my chibi drawings and asked if I could do a "How To Draw" of it =]

no =\ those are my characters that I have rights to, even the demon. I just used them to help people draw chibis; not for them to 'own' a character that i created. If you want to have a character that people give away, go to an adoption group. You can get free ones there or buy one for low points. You can find the groups here -> [link] there are over 500 of them.

Wow this is really helpful, I've never drawn chibi's before, only very detailed anime stuff, which I never bother posting on here, but anyway this was very useful for my first ever chibi. I used your guidelines and made it my own, which is what you were aiming for right ?

wow these chibis r awesome! and easy! now my chibis wont be that bad, i hope...
but awesome tutorial, its easy to understand and has some cool chibis and it tells us about the whole body of the little chibis xD.

Haha thank you so much for your lovely comment. Chibis look easy to draw but once you start drawing them you see that there is more work in them then you would have thought. But always do simple ones then work your way up in customizing your chibis.

I really love this tutorial because it's so simple! I just looked at one and I thought, "HOW THE HECK COULD I DRAW THAT!?" This is so simple! And, bonus, it comes with a selection of eyes!
