I've been working on this fanfic for a while now, I originally intended to post it on May 1st cause that was the official halfway point to Halloween but that didn't work out, and I even had to put it up WIP but it's finally done

The story starts with Tintin and Snowy, Captain Haddock, and Hercule Poirot at the Paris Opera House because Lupin the 3rd and his gang plan to steal Bianca Castifore's prized emerald (the Captain is defiantly not happy about doing this), and of course Inspector Zenigata is on the case, and being reporters Spirou and Fantasio are also there and so is BlackJack to see the performance of an up in coming opera singer who he operated on (his payment being her first performance after recovery)

So when Lupin tries to take the emerald he runs into the rumored Phantom of the Opera and duels with him, this Phatnom even hinting that he meet Lupin's grandfather, and then this leads to the usual wacky chase where Lupin loses the emerald (it gets returned) and Tintin meets the aforementioned Opera singer when he saves her from a falling chandelier, she kind of falls in love with Tintin and Tintin sort of returns her feelings but he feels very conflicted and confused cause she makes him think of his mom

Even after the issue with Castifore’s emerald is resolved, Tintin and friends still investigate Opera House as some weird things have been happening around there, Poirot looks into the fact that the owner of the Opera House has taken a lot of insurance policies on the place, but he gets pulled into Tintin and Lupin’s in investigations that are more of a supernatural nature, which takes them through Paris’s infamous and mysterious underground , encountering ghosts, vampires, and werewolves along the way (Zenigata even gets bitten by a werewolf and we all know what that means), and finally meeting the Phantom himself, who’s a Dhampir (a human vampire hybrid) that guards the Paris Opera House from underneath it and is the Opera singer’s tutor

It all eventually leads to a plot lead by the dragon riding vampire Le Succube’ to plunge the city of Paris in to eternal darkness so that the creatures of the night may reign supreme, can are heroes prevent this from happening, especially as Tintin is trying to deal with his mixed up feelings

Important events and points of the plot

werewolf attack where Inspector Zenigata gets bitten and later turns into a werewolf, the attack was meant to aim for Poirot

Tintin, Captain Haddock, and Lupin discover a crypt of vampires hidden under the vacant closed up Le Theatre Du Grand Guignol but before they can stake the lot their chased off by the ghosts of na**** soldiers who guard the vampires during the day

Poirot and Zenigata get kidnapped by the vampires and their mortal henchmen to be used in their own Grand Guignol theatre

Tintin and co. have to find a piece of music that is that main device in the spell Le Succube’ plans to use, the music being written long ago by a composer who witnessed a witches’ Sabbath , one of the two music sheets are hidden in Notre Dame, the other in The Louvre

Tintin fights the evil ghost Jean L’Ecorcheur, who was an assassin for French roalty,and then Le Succube’ tries to use Tintin for her spell as it also calls for a catalyst figure that bridges the human and the supernatural worlds to chant the incantaion

Le Succube' has Poirot and Zenigata kidnapped to use in her Coven's Le Grand Guignol theater (cause of Pops being a werewolf)

Poirot finds out that the owner of the Paris Opera House is committing insurance fraud and is in cahoots with the monsters, working through their human but devil worshiping allies

About my OC Phantom of the Opera
His name is Gerard, he’s the son of the vampire Comete De St.Germain, his mother a lady in waiting at the French court, being a Dhampir he has second sight, when he grew up he became what most Dhampirs do, a vampire hunter, until during the French Revolution when he was shot in the face (and his eye) by a mob of the more violent crazy type of revolutionaries who had massacred the friendly group of monks he worked under, this caused his vampiric blood to fully awakened and then he in turn massacred the mob, then he went into hiding, living in the extensive and expanding Paris underground, when the Paris Opera House came into being he lived underneath it, acting as it’s dark protector, which is how he meet the first Lupin when he tried to steal from the Opera House, he even inspired the author of the original Phantom of the Oprea novel, the Phantom has ghostly servants and followers, among whom are a hunckback court jester, a medieval princess, a medieval plague doctor and a platoon of American WW2 soliders, and has rats, street cats, and wolves for pets
