There was a rumor years ago after the Lorax 2012 movie released that there'd be a sequel. Of course, it never happened and Illumination Entertainment animation continued on with Despicable Me 2. I'm guessing they wasn't sure what it'll be about so here's my version of a sequel.

It's set years later and Ted's now older with his fiancee Audrey. He's now known as the man who 'speaks for the trees' therefore he knows what's best and became the rich man of Thneedville. The obsession became so mad that he would lock trees up from humans and even animals! Lorax being the guardian of the forest also protects the animals and wants to help them. Once-Ler being as old as he was told the Lorax he can't help. Lorax rolled his eyes, using his secret powers to return Once-Ler to his young self.
"If you could make me young and mess with time, why didn't you do the same for the trees?!"
"Cuz ya wouldn't of learnt yer lesson if I did, Beanpole!"
Okay, okay! I'm done! haha! This was a test drawing to see how I can do with more shading and less character outline. I'm quite happy with it!--except Lorax (he's hard to draw and has too much furr....can we shave him?).
Anyway--I know some of the Dr Seuss fans hated the 2012 movie because loads was added to the story and I'm sorry but again...I loved it and wanted more! Here I go again to create fan art of whatever and to mess around with time. I am a strange type of Time Lord and the cintiq is my dearest companion.
