Back to the present, and Sylvia, with her newly minted skill and experience decides to take on a demon from her past, only to find out that she is still a demon. Tough though she may be, and with a great deal more experience under her belt, Sylvia is still considered a "rookie" among the regulars at Pacific Sirens gym. Certainly no match for Hana, a seasoned veteran with at least one championship under her belt. In her own class Sylvia could make headway, but she still hasn't shaken the habit of taking on impossible odds.

So, one night at an old gym in Reseda, she laced up once more against the woman who leveled her before. Granted it wasn't quite as easy this time around, Sylvia's time training and fighting had not been wasted, but a champion she was not. At least not yet.

Meanwhile the driver ponders whether he'll be taking Sylvia home or to the hospital, and Jackie laments her wildcard fighter being out of commission for at least a month. Sister Martha, who always bets against Sylvia, is mentally counting her winnings. Chrissy, Sinthia, and Kyda are just enjoying the show.
