Description
"Oh, you're early. Have a seat, I'm almost done. There's coffee if you'd like some."Every good operative needs good equipment, and all equipment needs good maintenance. That's where Hands comes in. Nicknamed for her precision with fine detail work, Hands can fix, repair, or maintain just about anything with one or more moving parts or electronic circuits. Her services demand top dollar, especially if they're to remain quiet, and quiet is how Hands' most frequent customer likes to keep things. A bounty hunter who frequently targeted Azimuth Pharmaceutical clones. Not exactly demanding work, targeting aFras, but in the interest of maintaining every unfair advantage she can conceive of, Mantis likes to keep her gear in excellent working order.

I'd say 'dat butt' but I'm too impressed by how she keeps her workstation neat and clean.

Gotta use whatever advantage that comes your way, right?

I like this a lot. Hands got back, so to speak. And the subtle fluorescent lighting effect.
But if the future, wouldn't screwdrivers be replaced by hand tool that had the same functionality, the only difference being that the handle lights up and the tool emits a "beep-boop" sound when you screw or unscrew anything?
(Sorry. The preceding is not an actual criticism, it is the result of too many years of 70's TV SF, not to mention the original Star Trek in which people would climb into "Jeffries tubes" and adjust the timing on the Enterprise's distributor with a similar flashing, futuristic tool. Actually, your approach is vastly superior, in which people who need to unscrew things use a screwdriver, and not, say, some creepy thing that grows under your skin, drinks your blood, extends it's fine, hair-like tendrils throughout your brain and spinal column, reads your mind and helpfully extends a selection of flathead, Philips or Torx tips from your bleeding fingertips whenever you think hard enough. Giving up your humanity to become a soulless, immortal, transhuman of immense godlike power has a certain Faustian grandeur; giving up your humanity in order to more easily open the case of your laptop is just mildly depressing.)

If it ain't broke, don't fix it, right? Long as there are bolts and screws there will be wrenches and drivers!

Hey there... TangledSyntax??? Very fun work! It looks a lot like my old friend Khal's art... you have a very gentle touch.
Speaking of touching... that's a very fine rear-end there!

Hands have such a great, fun design. Love the clothes you have gave her!
-maybe loved too much, as I went overboard with that in my impatience D:>-
All these little details really work for this pic!

High praise, thank you! It turns out as kind of a mash-up of a 1980's aerobics outfit and a toolbelt, haha.

Your eye for detail continues to impress. Great work on putting the shadow of her glasses across her cheek.

The devil will never come out to play if we don't examine the details. He'll send his daughter instead.
