Something I'm preparing for my portfolio.This is an animated short project, but I'm not planning on animating it yet due to the lack of time. For now, I'm only doing the character design and storyboard, which I may submit here as an animatic in the future (mostly because I need a proper soundtrack).
About this artwork, it was just a quick style and mood test, but I like it!

Oh neat! I'm actually doing the same thing as you - making a short film but not animating it, and just doing an animatic with sounds instead. Time is also the reason I'm not animating mine, and I wouldn't want to work as an animator anyway. I just plain love visual stories and storytelling.

It happens the same to me! I don't want to work as an animator, but I do love story telling. I just can't make a character and that's it, I have to create a story behind it, and that oftens comes out as an animated short or comic idea. I studied animation for 2 years, and even sometimes I do animation in my work, but that's not what I'm aiming for to be. It's handy to know the basics though!

¿Sabes que hay un juego de mesa donde llevas un grupo de aventureros convertidos en ratones en un castillo medieval? Lo digo porque el diseño de tu personaje me ha hecho recordar a dicho juego e igual te molaría verlo. Los dibujos están muy chulos XDDD
Dicho ésto, tengo ganas de ver el resto del proyecto, porque mola ^^
