This is the smartest creature thriving on Geb. Though they are more primitive than humans, they have discovered fire, are able to carve sophisticated weapons and developed speech and writing. Their current language is very similar to a simple musical sheet. They have two vocal chords, one for each breathing hole that connects to a different lung. They can make different combinations of sounds to say different words. The Lacertacredos live in isolated clans within the Altofilias Mountain Chain, descending only to find food or resources. They gather wood from trees in the Great Savannah to build shelters, make weapons to hunt pisces and large terrestrial animals or to gather fruit and tubers.

More incredible yet, some tribes have evolved trading systems among each other. This allows them to exchange a surplus of resources for other necessities that may be unavailable in other areas. A few tribes have even traveled across the continent to find precious herbs and rare pisces in the Great Northeast Swamp. Small territorial disputes have been observed on rare occasions.

Although they are fully sentient, the Lacertacredos kept their dorsal and tail spikes throughout their evolution as protection from the superpredators. They, along with other Lacertavirs, have elongated lips reminiscent of a butterfly's larynx which hides their sharp radula. Unlike humans on Earth, females lay eggs to protect themselves from the growing spikes of their young. Babies need 9 months to hatch and rely on their mother's milk for 4 years. The Lacertacredos live for 50 years on average but the oldest individual documented may have been 70. They are taller and heavier than humans and also much faster, but only have 4 fingers and two thumbs. Therefor, their numerals are for the moment based on our equivalent of the number 12.

The specimen portrayed above is a male teenager and has even freckles as proof of its youth. It has a lance made with the skull extension of a Tiger Drake. This one has a noticeable smaller spike on its thagomizer (tail), which was probably lost in a hunt that went awry. Thankfully they can regrow lost spikes just like how humans can regrow broken nails. Older spikes have a browner appearance since they seem to slightly tan in the sun. This one is hunting after big game in the Great Savannah with its clan (unseen).

Their long tail provides balance when traveling along steep ledges in the Altofilias mountains.
