Vocation tabs are stitched on the collars, usually on the M95 field uniform, to generally identify a servicemember's role, job and skill within the military. A uniform's collars would have two tabs stitched in total, one on the left collar and another on the right collar. A servicemember can combine different vocation tabs to signify competencies in both areas, for example, a Regular Army soldier with Signals and Transport tabs most likely signifies a Signals vehicle driver. As for the Space Command and Oceanic Defence, the second tab would be their fleet role tab if they operate in a fleet which would be stitched on the left collar.
