OH MY GOD!!! This is great!!! Love those curls!! I wish I had them in real life (actually, I wish I had hair so long in real life!) Great tutorial!! I wonder if it works on human hair to (minus the silicon spray, of course! )

You could give it a try I actually do something similar to this with my real hair but I do it with wet hair and let them stay in over night.

xD nice! I have mostly straight wigs but mainly because the curly ones always seemed to me really difficult to take care of, thing you proved me wrong about ^-^ your tutorial helped me a lot and I thank you so much for it now I can proudly say "I'm gonna buy more curly wigs!!!" xDD

Wow this is an awesome tutorial! I had an awful time with a wig similar to this from GLW, I ended up throwing it away. Now that I see that I went about it all wrong, I'm going to get a wig from a better company, probably the place you got yours!
Thanks for taking the time to make this tutorial. Great job!!

The fibers from Purple Plum wigs are -SO- nice to work with I highly recommend them!

Do you spray any extra product to keep the curls in place after you're done?
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
TastyPeachStudios In reply to watashiveracasan [2012-02-27 02:07:43 +0000 UTC]
Nope! The heat sets them untill you wash it again :3 I spray a little silicon before I wear it and it keeps from getting super tangled.

watashiveracasan In reply to TastyPeachStudios [2012-02-27 02:12:37 +0000 UTC]
Would this silicon spray work for, say a 4-5' long wig?
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
TastyPeachStudios In reply to watashiveracasan [2012-02-27 02:24:07 +0000 UTC]
Sure will! A friend of mine had a super long Shira wig she did this too. Worked fine

watashiveracasan In reply to TastyPeachStudios [2012-02-29 04:51:01 +0000 UTC]
So it'll work fine for non-heat resistant wigs? I'm not sure if mine is or not but it tangles just by looking at it! ><

TastyPeachStudios In reply to watashiveracasan [2012-02-29 06:27:25 +0000 UTC]
the silicon is fine for heat or non heat resistant :3 but Heat resistant has nicer fibers to work with overall.

This tutorial made me want to go out and buy a quality wig and actually try to accomplish the beautiful curls! I have naturally curly hair, but my curls are much tighter and my hair is sadly shorter :c
