Description

A semi original war vehicle I made for my imperial world.

The Grachev heavy AFV belongs to the Astra Militarum regiments of Kray Mira and it's Planetary Defense Force.
It is a rugged armoured fighting vehicle that is the result of an ad hoc field conversion of a wrecked Grachev heavy armoured car; its engine shares an approximate 50% parts commonality with that of a Chimera. It was build to support tanks and other AFVs on the battlefield, specially in urban areas. When used in urban terrain, each main battle tank is deployed with two Grachev AFVs, outside of urban warfare that ratio is reversed with one Grachev AFV protecting two main battle tanks.
This AFV has twelve Katyusha-derived missile launchers as a set of primary armaments to defeat enemy tanks and infantry, but only one missile is carried for each of the launchers without any additional ones stowed away. It has an additional set of weapons consisting of a Lascannon, a hull-mounted Heavy Stubber, and two sponson mounted Heavy Bolters. Additional weapons, such as grenade launchers or autocannons may be added as needed, making it a powerful, reliable and versatile AFV.
Though Kray Mira rarely mixed STC derived tech with its primitive planetary designs, the formation of the Cicatrix Maledictum forced the planet to improve and expand its defensive capabilities in order to survive. Due to their loyalty and numerous contributions to the Indomitus Crusade, all of Kray Mira's subtle tech heresies were overlooked/allowed to continue by the Adeptus Mechanicus.

As with my previous post, it's kinda inspired on the Soviet Union and modern day Russia. Hope you like it!
