A semi original weapon I made for my imperial world.

The Pecheneg Assault Flamer belongs to the Astra Militarum regiments of Kray Mira and it's Planetary Defense Force. It is a highly advanced pattern of flamer that uses force-compression technology similar to that of a plasma weapon to create a superheated thermal-incandescent blast that burns far hotter and with greater fuel efficiency than that of a usual flamer. This design grants it an increased fuel reserve, while keeping the weapon itself relatively light, making it a perfect choice for squads requiring high mobility. Its sturdy and modular construction has earned it a reputation for reliability and efficiency, and it is a favourite of many light infantry regiments that prefer the speed with which it allows to bring its raw killing power to bear. One of its only drawbacks is that the more complex inner workings of the weapon require more time and resources to manufacture than a common flamer.
The Pecheneg Assault Flamer can be used to incinerate a swathe of targets in the manner of a standard Flamer, but can also focus its jet into searing cutting flames, difficult to aim, but able to slice through the most durable armour. Its fuel canister usually holds refined promethium, as is common with most Imperial flame weapons, but some units prefer to add toxic chemicals to the mix. Used only by specialist assault troops in full protective gear, said mixture not only burns but also poisons the surrounding air with noxious smoke. Foes who manage to survive the initial flames find themselves gasping for air once the toxins reach their lungs. The effects of the mixture on flesh are truly horrific and all but the best armour is little protection from the burning poison.
Though Kray Mira did not originally meddle with such holy technologies, the formation of the Cicatrix Maledictum forced the planet to improve and expand its defensive capabilities in order to survive. Due to their loyalty and numerous contributions to the Indomitus Crusade, all of Kray Mira's subtle tech heresies were overlooked/allowed to continue by the Adeptus Mechanicus.

As with my previous post, it's kinda inspired on the Soviet Union and modern day Russia. Hope you like it!
