this was my very first tier 10 tank, and I have had a great deal of fun in this.
Shame it's no use for my clan in Clan Wars. But that will be remedied soon enough.

it was my first tier 10 as well (back when it was the FV202) but now gets to share the garage with my 2nd tier 10, the FV4005 stage II.
in hull-down its almost impenetrable XD and her 105 is nice and fast, but yes I am a little disappointed it can't survive that well in clan wars...

I powergrinded for this thing after it replaced the FV4202, and then played almost nothing for it for a week in order to complete the mission for the FV4202(P)
The CAX is an alright pubbie tank, its not suitable for CW because it is unremarkable in what it can do as a medium tank. The STB-1 is more low profile with a far more reliably bouncy turret front with the fastest 105 RoF (poor soft stats but can be mitigated skillfully), the new TVP brings a burst clip damage capability like the BC 25t, and Soviet hover tanks rule supreme.

did you get the FV4202(P)?
yes I must admit im impressed by the STB-1's turret and hull armor performance in hull-down, the gun I guess I never really paid much attention other than I though it was lacking a little velocity vs the CAX's Royal Ordance 105. All I know is I've been trying out the T-62A on the CT and its my next medium grind, love the turret armor, incredibly fast 100mm gun, and over all maneuverable and low profile

i got it, after a marathon 2 days of CAX action with less than an hour left to the mission event.
i'm currently on track to the STB-1 myself, loving the Type 61 atm (my stats show otherwise, but thats due to MM and the tank not being good at carrying)

eh, who cares about XVM its overrated and used in the wrong manners anyway XD

XVM has its merits and uses. But it may give some people, who know how to make use of the info it provides and act on it, an edge over others. But it is particularly annoying to be the recipient of such attention, particularly SPGs w/ xvm, when i get focused down for being a dirty unicum.
I don't have XVM installed because i dont really need it. And also bcuz it caused lag in the past so i dont want to take the chance

same, I still have the files for re-installing it, but I don't run xvm anymore, and I never found out how useful it is in battle...

I run pretty much vanilla WoT and im doing quite fine.
I want to like it. Its not a bad tank, especially after they buffed it somewhat. But im in the awkward situation where i have far too many tanks to grind all at the same time, nor the need to train up a British MT crew (since i made the mistake of getting a girl crew for the Centurions and having a Cromwell B crew as well, which seemed like a good idea at the time)

lol, my Cromwell B crew share my AX, so they're a two tank crew, works our real smooth
