Description This is the first time in a while I didn't go in and use some graphical balancing to clean up my art. I used to much light shading that I didn't want to loose, so I apologize if this looks slightly grayed or smudged in spots.

The idea struck me from the fact I have 2 friends who have Avatars who are always wearing a latex suit (Vikki Vixen and Weirdseal). So the idea of what sort of clothing one wears over it was being discussed with myself and Weirdseal at one point, and I suggested something simple, like just a sweater. My friend couldn't envision it, but the idea stuck with me, so in the end I did this. A nice warm baggy sweater over the snug fitting latex. To me it's a contrast of not just materials and "shine" or even colors, but of form. Latex clings to every curve and fold, while a loose sweater like that all but envelops you in formless wrinkles and folks.

Honestly I love how this one came out.

Lessons learned -Getting the hands and hair at the collar was a bit difficult. Also there's something wrong with this picture I cannot put my finger on, I THINK with the arms.

As I mentioned to someone else, Static has a problem with Rubber/latex. Rubber (and by proxy, latex) is used to ground electricity. It's a non-conductor, and if the person is wearing an outfit like that, which covers them from neck to toes, then they are pretty much "sealed in" with a layer that would be static resistant. I wouldn't think this would generate very much static at all honestly....

As for the error, you may be right. The lower portion behind the arms was thrown in to show more of the "loose" nature of the sweater so that it "hangs" off the arms. The actual arm is pretty much behind the forearm, but I found the shoulders added some very odd looking lumps that wouldn't reconcile to my eye properly, so I chose to simply let them remain hidden entirely. So it's possible you're correct in pointing out that the lack of the upper arm might be throwing things off to the viewer. it's not something I'd thought of....

Great picture. Always wanted to wear casual clothes over a latex suit on day. :3

I'm not so sure how well it'd work, but at least it'd be great insulation with the cold weather we've been having.

I have to agree, this came out extremely well! The shading on the sweater is particularly good. Plus, the dea of a nice soft baggy sweater of tight sleek latex is rather tingly. ^_^

Plus... it's somehow just inherently cute.

Thank you on the shading. I went a little more overboard then I usually do with it and balance controls seem to wipe the lighter shading out.

As for the contrast, that was pretty much my take on the idea.

Yeah

Would also be fitting for a dominatrix, who intends to go out for a little while and just pulls on a top instead of changing out of her dominatrix attire.

That's a thought too. There's a lot a sweater like that can hide.

Yes indeed

I must confess I was looking at it and suddenly had this flash fantasy.

A captive is hogtied and soundly gagged on her bed, bedroom floor or in her closet looking up at her helplessly as she casually pulls on the sweater over her domme attire and chuckles about going out for a while...

And yeah, was hooked on the concept.

Could hide a corset under that sweater too... hrm. Glad you liked the idea, have fun with it.
