We play Pathfinder now with my group. Unfortunately this means my sexy Goblin will never return (Goblins in pathfinder are the ugliest critters!!), so I had to look elsewhere. The new Monster Manual (or whatever they called it) included a race known as Tengu, basically Anthro ravens, WITH the rules on how to play them as PCs right there!!So naturally I made one. The DM isn't really sure about the race, but he agreed to let me TRY... before we broke for the Holiday. No idea if he'll let me play her now, but he did challenge me to draw a "sexy" Tengu... While not outright Sexy, I think she has an appropriate amount of sex appeal, ne?

Lessons learned - Getting the foreshortening on those daggers was a pain. I should've let the leggings/harem pants fall into a more natural shape instead of bunching it up like I did...

Heh, thanks. I wasn't entirely happy with it, and I think that character would be likely to throw a few daggers your way for trying the whole "pretty bird" routine with her.

Interesting. The only other RPG I've seen that has a bird-like race for PC's to play is Rage. Of course I haven't played very many to be fair.

I don't know which one came first, but there was a card game to. They both focus around werewolves, but later introduced werecats, werebirds, werereptiles, etc. Fun game and a nice and expansive world White Wolf created for it.

Tengus are a neat race, never had a chance to use them though. Always a better fan to the Aarakocree though. -__-;

Foreshortening is always difficult, yes. You're taking something that is inherently 3-d and rendering it in a 2-d fashion.

There are two kinds of Tengu, the raven tengu and the canine tengu.
These two different characters can be seen in Tohou.

Glad you like it. In the Pathfinder RPG however they labelled raven-morphs as Tengu.
