"What is the Osaka Grid? Death and neon bathed in night rain"

My latest "scene" piece. It's been nearly a year since I first painted this picture , as a means to return to a genre I loved and try out the craze: photobashing and matter. Then, two nameless characters evolved into something more - a literary project and a drive to improve and grow. Si I decided to, as a year passed, try another shot at a classic asian urbance cyberpunk scene and photobashing.

This is the result, which I'm very happy with. I painted it in very little time, compared to the usual stuff, used more photo textures and effects I picked up from studying professional painters. Though not an excercise in technical proficiency, the goal was to create an atmospheric ambience that often lacks in my works, and to catch a specific tone, wiff of a genre's defining features.
