Description
"In the cave-eat hubs of Northeast Meta, he was known simply as the Operator – the name was lost amongst ones and zeroes, and fake retina scans. Rumors passed to eager ears, that the Operator returned not long ago from the Archipelago Wars in the Pacific – his injured body amnesiac to the damp cold winds of BosWash. His frame, draped in a thick, oily trenchcoat, would linger around prosthetic shops and at the back-ends of clubs, as the Operator searched for work.Wrong place, wrong time – his services were too expensive, and in runt-town suburban sprawls, despite the heavy regulations, bullets were a cheaper alternative to the complex schemes he offered. The Operator sought to climb the corporate ladder, they said, but instead he slumped down at noodle chow joints with a sour frown on his implant-pockmarked face.
Time and change erroded his expectations and customs, but the winds in Newark where just as harsh in Novemeber as they were five years ago" - and some music for the mood www.youtube.com/watch?v=FJyiux…
This is the milestone of the next year for me. I finally decided to leave the cosy familiarity of Painter, of working with the ever-present oil pastels and rendering everything with small round brushes and shit - and venture into the lures of Photoshop, matte, and textures.
Indeed, this picture is the quintessence of what I've recently learned of the medium, of my artistic vision in cyberpunk and my technical skill at the present moment. Robust, colorful, contemporaty and aggressive.
With the character stemming from the previous work in the same theme - - I've been inspired by the visual style and concept art to Deus Ex revolution, and worked on achieving a similar level of detail attention and blend of original aesthetics. This work required quite a lot of preliminary design work and sketching that I will show later.
Cyberpunk is in my blood, and I'm slowly returning to it, with a new skillset, and this marks the beginning of a serious new IP, series of illustrative and written works. This a reper for a new future, a renovation and renaissance.
Your comments and faves are as always highly welcome to guide me on this journey.

I've been a lurker of your art for some time now, and I have to say you have gotten even more so insanely good, you're really damn talented.

Lovely, I would like to draw like that . I have only one thing... All that neons should I think give more light reflections on guy, now it seems it's picture on background not actual street (but only a little)( I think green light especialy, 3 green neons behind)

ohh, so this is operator, I would really like to see more of this cyberpunk world you've conjured up. And, the details, so many and yet the composition does not seem to be cluttered. Gotta love those tiny words on his clothes/body, such a funny thing to read. i-Limb, haha

Operators gonna operate.
You know, I think your level of realism as far as human faces go is starting to climb out of the other side of uncanny valley, you know what I mean? It's not QUITE there yet - you've got some slightly unrealistic proportions in places, proportions of features, nose, mouth etc. - it's not bad by any means but it's just not photorealistic - but quite a lot is photorealistic, or at least close enough to it. Goddamn, little ripples in the seams on leather, the metal and logos, that shit is great. And even better, it hasn't got any of the lazy-looking visible brush strokes at the edges of anything that have sometimes been distracting before. So, I'm not sure if photorealistic in all aspects is what you're going for, but if it is, it looks like some subtle facial proportions is the biggest thing straying from thatpoint.

This is your greatest cyberpunk-inspired work to date, in my opinion. The aesthetics you chose are perfect for modern cyberpunk, and of course the artistic execution as a whole is top-notch as well. I think the perspective of the ground looks a little wonky, but the error is easily overlooked when juxtaposed against the expertly rendered, and designed character.

Oh wow! Just wow! This is amazing. It's all and more than I'd been hoping to see from your works when you were talking about where you were trying to go... The mecha-hand, the texture of the coat, the smooth transition from skin to implant, and that backdrop! Seriously, I cannot gush enough about this. I wish all my favourite sci-fi and cyber punk novels had you doing the cover art. I'm waiting with bated breath to see what gorgeous work you put out next.

I love the complexity and how there are many details and such, truly it is an irresistible pleasure and the improvement is really visible.
Sure hope some of the preliminary sketches have even higher resolution, especially if dealing with the cables, sockets, throat and prosthesis.
How many hours did this take to make? How does the take a shower and keep the sockets dirt-free? Considering his throat is at least partially artifical, does he have vocal cordes or something more artifical?

Wow, this something really different from your usual drawing style. I like the tons of details everywhere. The only thing that buggers me, is the Pose of the guy himself, something seems off, but I cant point my finger on something.

Happy Birthday!
Your picture is really amazing! The face is completely photorealistic and the lighting on his trenchcoat also looks great (the only thing that looks a little off is his armor - the trenchcoat should cast a shadow on his plates). The hyper-bright background and flickering signs also give the whole setting a surreal atmosphere. Is this what it looks like from the perspective of his bionic eye?

This is effin' incredible! I really admire the detail in all of your works I've seen so far, but this one must be your best! Simply masterful rendition of materials (metals, hair, leather, skin etc.) displayed here! Keep up a good work, dude!

Very good indeed, I certainly see a vast improvement over your earlier works. Would I be inaccurate in thinking that it's partially a self-portrait?

Mindblowing improvement! That hand almost reminds me of Maciej Kuciara's renders.
One a side note I think it would benefit from some more depth between background and foreground to prevent it from looking a tad flat.
Other than that it's extremely inspiring.

Very cool, it's a big change for you One thing I would say for the next one is remember that you want your character to shine - after all you put so much work into it. Right now, to me at least, it's the background that is calling for more attention, because of the saturation and it has way more contrast
