It's a mouse fer those not sure what animal Rask killed.
and Sprig has a point, nature can be cruel but for a reason.
Awesome comic as always. I always love how unique it is and i see it as a way with how Anthros first came from long ago imo

Probably an anthro tradeoff compromise. The goal is to anthropomorphise towards the bare MINIMUM. But that means taking the limitations of biology seriously too. Within those rules, Making actually physically tiny animals sentient is too silly for a serious drama like this. Subsequently, mice, hamsters, voles, shrews, etcetera, all have to be HUGE. Since Sentience is for mammals only, The actual ecological niche of tiny rodents in this world are probably held by large insects like wetas.

Ok this is probably the most irrelevant comment you'll get all day.

Is it just me or am i not the only one hoping that somewhere down the line these two have a tail off.

Squirrel tails are notoriously bushy and long but it looks like our boys givin mr grey a run for his money!

I want to see Squirrel babies playing in that tail Stat D8

Everyone thinks they are superior...
The meat eater thinks he is superior over prey but prey also thinks it is superior over other prey and then there is prey that thinks it is superior over hunters ~
Awesome page. The hunting sequence looks great. And I really like the way you make the animals in your comic act both, human as well as beastly.
The conflict this creates is very interesting to watch. They feel empathy towards each other, but they would also kill each other to feed on them.

Can't blame a carnivore for being born that way. Nor a herbivore or omnivore.
