Description
Its a semi technical study from the album cover of "only my railgun" the op of the anime series "A certain Scientific Railgun" (or Toaru Kagaku no Railgun) a side story from A certain Magical index (toaru majutsu no index)Essentially I wanted to try my hand at crosshatching... I seemed to have failed
Toaru Majutsu no Index characters belong to Kazuma Kamachi
done soley using a ball point pen... with some white out for corrections.
done on 11x14 paper
used the cd single of "only my railgun" as the study

I wouldn't say you failed at all. It actually looks quite good. ^^
I'm not in a position to critique, but the only thing I can see that would need any significant work is a more gradual change in shading for the hair, or else a more defined outline of the hair (mainly for the person on the right) if it's a bit on top leaving the rest in shade. ^^

yeah the hair... about that I used a camera to take a picture, so there was some glare, possibly lighting up that area...
(its too big to scan in one piece..)
and I haven't really mastered cross hatching yet... but thanks for the comment ^_^
