So I watched my friend play a tidbit of the "Journey" demo, and I had to try it out myself. I thought it was absolutely stunning, so I will definitely be picking up that game in the future. After looking at the stellar reviews of both game ad soundtrack, I purchased the soundtrack (only $4.99 for 18 songs) on iTunes and drew this little picture while listening to it. I've been unhappy with my art for a while and I'm ready to do something new. I'm actually really happy with how this one turned out. There are some things that I couldn't get right and eventually gave up to just finish the darn thing.I'm glad I was finally freed from my art block though. It's been rough.

I just feel like other than getting "better," my style hasn't matured or changed to suit my personality -- it's still floating in limbo in the vicinity of time when I got my tablet, and therefore when I started to take art seriously XD
I need to figure out something that comes naturally and still depicts what i see in my head.

Point! I wish I could draw, but I don't have the patience to learn the skills and then refine them over the course of ten years. I;ll stick with describing an image I see in my head over the course of a ten page MS Word document! LOL
