This is awesome. Very...hm.. Classic feeling I guess? Just has a sort of nostalgic vibe to it. Sorta Starcraft, or Halo 1 thing going on. Not to say you're ripping off or anything, just saying your character has a nice nostalgic feel.
I love the whole floating through the air in darkness with a single shaft of light asthetic :3 Colouring and lines are really nicely done here too.
