I used swfObject to embed the flash and the basic interface is 98KB with each grouping of photos for the products averaging around 20KB.
Color changing background is done using action script and there are a total of 34 swf files loading for this site when called. Main interface is only 98kb and total site size is 707 KB (when you factor all images that load in)

Edit: Added the two main fonts I use to the zip file, you need to install them into your windows/fonts folder (just copy paste or drag them into your fonts folder) to view the site's fonts properly.

For the fonts so people don't need to install them you can always use linkedfontname.embedFonts = 1; Gotta add it to the library and of course, set linkage properties and choose them from the menu in the properties when useing them. Adds a small bit of file size but usually nothing noticeable. You probabily already knew this though.

Thanks, I'll use embedFonts for clients but keep the code simple for this site since most dA users are confused by even basic button/loadmovie code

real cook, but can you have the map kind of magnify on same page or rather pop up in a window with defined size(small)

Map just goes to Google maps with the address, I could have done a lot more for this site but got tired of playing with it

it's an amazing site! it's so clean and organized, and the transitions are really neat
one question, though. How exactly do you upload a flash site on the internet? do you need to convert it into an html file first?
